Holloway Gaels 2-09
TCG 2-08
Once again it was a dramatic showdown between rivals Holloway and TCG in the 2025 Division 1 League Final held at McGovern Park Ruislip on Saturday April 26th. Holloway earning a hard-fought win after last year's league final disappointment.

On this warm Saturday afternoon, Holloway entered the match with a perfect record in the round stages, but TCG proved early that this would be their toughest challenge yet. TCG struck first, putting up two quick points before Holloway got on the scoreboard.
A composed penalty conversion by Trea Hourigan after 20 minutes flipped the momentum, putting Holloway ahead 1-02 to 0-03. Cassie Sultan then buried a second goal just before halftime, giving Holloway a solid 2-03 to 0-03 lead at the break.

The second half saw TCG displaying the grit that took them to last year's title, chipping away steadily at the deficit and then stunned Holloway with two goals in quick succession. With just eight minutes remaining, Holloway’s lead had shrunk to a single point. Five minutes from full time, the scores were level, setting up a tense finale.
In the pressure-packed final moments, it was Meg Woods who rose to the occasion, splitting the posts to restore Holloway’s lead. They held on through the final whistle to claim a one-point victory.
