Holloway Juniors completed their championship season in July at Tottenhall Sports Ground with a close match against Dulwich Harps. It was a true team performance which demonstrate the skill and spirit that this team has. Dulwich ran out winners, but not before Holloway scored four second half goals to rattle the south London side.
The season has been a very positive one for Holloway Juniors - reaching the County League Final and narrowly missing out on a semi-final place in the Championship. The improvement in the team performances week on week as well as the development and progress of individual players has demonstrated the value that a Junior team has brought to our club. Key to the progress has been the focus on positive play, encouragement and enjoyment of the game. Of significance was the fact than many players new to the game at the start of the season, progressed from being novices and beginners to playing competitive championship football. We expect many of our Junior team to progress to the intermediate ranks in the months and years to come.
Captaining the junior team in 2023 was Offaly and South London woman, Aine Maguire. A ciotóg, with an abundance of energy and skill, Aine led with style and tenacity.

Thanks to the Junior Managers and Coaches - Anne-Marie Dargan, Ciara Holland and Aisling Clifford.
