2026 Season off to a flier

The Intermediate Team kicked off their mission to retain the League Cup with an opening game against TCG, who they overcame in last year's final of the competition. Under the new management team of Ciaran and Dan, the girls took to the field prepared for a tough contest and it turned out to be just that, with TCG first on the scoresheet. Holloway worked hard throughout to take a 3 point lead at the final whistle.

Next up was the Junior team, hoping to go one step further this year after losing out to TCG juniors in the 2025 League final. The opening round opposition were Fr. Murphy's, where both teams played 13 a side for the game. Huge work rate and skill from Holloway saw them in the driving seat from early on and they never lost control of the game from then. A big battle and lots of mileage in the legs but a strong performance by all players saw them lead comfortably at the fulltime whistle on a score line of 6-10 to 1-10.
